Since it's pretty obvious that I was a total noob (ooh i said noob!I said noob!) before coming to Adelaide

I just thought I'd take some time to boast about some of my other accomplishments. (apart from ironing, which I totally rock at)

1. I can cook! And I'm talking raw eggs to saliva-inducing cheese-filled fluffy omelette kind of cooking ok. None of that microwave crap.

2. I obviously can iron.

3. I can work a washing machine.

4. I can wake up on time. Everyday. Over the past one month, Christine has only had to knock on my door ONCE to wake me up. The rest of the days I'm either the earliest or second earliest to wake up. Yes I know, I rock.

5. I can er drink juice everyday. Ok fine I've run out of accomplishments for the time being.

Give me a few more months and I'll add

6. Cook a gourmet meal for 10.

7. Bake banana cake for Steph.

8. Clean up vomit Steph spews all over the wall.

and

9. Run faster than Steph when she chases me down the block for doing number 7.

to the list.

It is popularised!!!!

I’ve vowed to popularize my other name “Jonathan” when I get to Melbourne, considering the fact that it is difficult for new people to remember what is my name & how to pronounce it properly. But let me tell you something that you guys back home wouldn’t expect.

Since we settle down in International House (place where we stay) we’ve been meeting new faces and introducing ourselves. Since it is difficult for people to remember Chun Peng’s name as Chun Peng, one day Ganesh just introduced CP as Jason (which for your info, Jason is a name that CP chose to have when he was young). Next person who helped CP in his introduction was Darren. Follow by me.

In less than a week since we got here, CP has gotten used to introducing himself as Jason. One day, a girl from US called him “Jason! Jason!” and CP just walk unaware that he was called, until we told him that the Jason that the girl was calling was referring to him. Now, not only that he has to continue to get used to introducing himself as Jason, he also has to get used to people calling him by his other name & respond to it.

Guys, so yah. That’s the new update of our friend named Jason. Such an adorable name right? Hehe. Looking forward to this Saturday’s dinner. We’re planning to go out and get a proper dining since it’s CNY’s eve. To all the makan clubers, check out all the yummy choc that we’ve been eating since we come to Melbourne in my blog. It will make you salivate non-stop. Lay In, Se Yin & Jennifer, when are you guys coming over? Winter? Easter? Su Chuen is coming over to Melbourne for 4 days during Easter. Let me know your plans k. Still considering if I should fly back during winter. Miss home so much! Anyway, Happy Chinese New Year!!!!

Makan Monday

Let me start this account by saying that everything did not go as smoothly as i had hoped on Monday. Well, if all of us remember target number 1 which was Sarawak Laksa and Kon Loh Mee, it sort of happened but didn't. This is because Restoran Gembiralah! Haiyo... the stall doesn't open on Monday and i didn't know. So sorry people!!! Anyway, we had to settle for second best Sarawak laksa and noodles at the opposite shop and second best tastes like.... second best.

After that, Li Yeen, Se Yin and I went to this baking shop to pick up butter and self raising flour for our scones. They didn't have fresh milk so I lead them to this sundry shop where we got conned. RM 4.80 for fresh milk!!! I usually buy mine from Pasaraya TTDI for RM 3.80! But the guys were waiting for us in Wen Hao's car so yeah, we paid anyway. Sigh... and a bumpy breakfast comes to an end.

We reached my house and proceeded to bake the scones which morphed from its normal round contours to a myriad of shapes under our fingers. There was a big J, voodoo doll, hearts, mickey mouse and even, a pieces of s#!t. Ha ha, just what we need to overcome our not so smooth start. With renewed spirits, we plunged head first into chinese cooking with a "Just do it" attitude. While the girls fussed around the kitchen, the boys poured their heart and soul into folding wantan and crabsticks to be fried.

This is a list of what we cooked:

1) Fried vegetables
2) Sweet and sour pork
3) Curry chicken
4) Fried wantan crabstick
5) Seaweed soup

Personally, I felt the best dish was no. 2 by Tham Li Yeen!!! Really yummy!!! We really must start giving prizes to the best chef from now on ha ha. Kenn Foong and William came along and 'wa la' then there was ice cream for the scones and music to serenade us while we cooked.

Makan Monday really ended deliciously, gob smackingly well despite its starting. As all of us crowded around the island in my kitchen devouring our creations, I just realised its not how well we cook that makes a meal really tasty but the people we share it with.

BAK-KUT-TEH SUNDAY

Of course, everyone had been craving for bakkuteh for some time already. But it was quite a last minute thing, when lay in and i suddenly decided we should have sunday bakkutteh bfast only on friday. And we quickly spread d word around, after our host in Klang mr. hau chun confirmed he was free on sunday morning.

So all of us hadta force ourselves up early on a lazy sunday mornin ...just to satisfy our sudden bakkuteh crave. :P

Jay, Wenhao, woonlee, li and myself departed from IMU while darren,kenn&lay in from kepong. We were all supposed to meet hauchun after the "2nd toll". but because we were a bit off schedule so told hauchun to come out later, i think he dozed off.. ekeke. nevertheless we still got to enjoy our famous klang bakkuteh.

It was yummy! esp all the 'yau char kuey's :D too bad eve is in japan, and a few cudnt make it. lets hope we'll have it again before we leave for uk!

MAKAN CLUB WENT INTERNATIONAL!!! [part 2 - The Return Of The Gobblers]

since i wrote part 1, to maintain the style of writing and level of critisism, i guess i'll just to write part 2 as well. anyways, the night of the first day didn't end just like that. we went to a bar 5 doors away to watch an 'interesting' match between arsenal and man-u. the 2-1 result was not what that matters, it's the fact that the bar charges $3.5 SD for a can of coke! my gosh! and to find out that there is a shop in Sin Lim Square that sells coke for only 60 cents the next day... AAARGGGH!

and that's where we were headed to after the girls cooked scrambled eggs and toast for breakfast! was delicious! Sin Lim is a whole building filled with gadgets and computer stuff selling at a ridiculously low price. 4 of us bought high speed SD cards with 2G space for only $37.90 SD!!! tempted now? but it's best that u act like rich b@$+@rD$ there becos the uncles(shop owners) will simply just ignore you if they find out that you are actually just checking out prices... sigh...

and off we went to orchard road to shop, shop, shop! but first, we ate at the Village (ppl in Adelaide must be rejoicing, as there is a restaurant for villagers here...) which was actually a former Marche in the Heeren... according to rumours, the Marche there has moved to Vivo City... but anyways, the Village serve the same food as Marche, so no harm... with filled bellies, we went around orchard road shopping! i can't recall anything super special mentioning here, besides the fact that singapore's economy boost now is solely due to the 3 girls we have in this group... =P

and then there's dinner time in Fish and Co. we fell in love with the services provided by the waiters here, and wh fell in love with 'Marie', a waitress whose name is simply a creation by cp and kenn, and that is rated PRETTY by all of us... he'd drop a fork and ask her for one, go figure the reason... =P and there we gave evie a surprise birthday celebration, which is a small part of a larger celebration back in m'sia, which i hope evie will give details later... there was fireworks and Fish n Co gave her their signature birthday song... too bad there was no more scoop between wh and marie... and more shopping cos the girls spotted a Zara nearby...

after about 45 minutes shopping, we took a bus to the Esplanade, a huge durian split into 2, which is going to house The Phantom Of The Opera in March... we tried to check out the place where boys hang out to break dance, but it was too far into the night, and there was only 1 group left... so we decided to just head over to the Merlion to snap photos, and we did, for 30 minutes just between the bridge from the durians and the Merlion. then we took a bus back to the Inn...

back at the inn, after freshening up, we were challenged to a game of foosball by the receptionist, the not so cute one... i was chosen to be the traitor where else kenn n cp was in the same team... but due to the hacking skills of the receptionist, kenn n cp lost, and they had to give him a prize of a bottle of 100 plus... the night did not end so early... we went to a 24 hour mall called Al-Mustafa that was only 8 minutes walk away! we were awed by the amount the stock they keep from groceries to cameras, to watches, to handphones, to toys and computer stuff to clothes! is was all there, whatever you need, sort of like a pasar malam indoor with air con, but too messed up for our liking... but good to check it out for experience sake... =P then, we retreated and packed for our last day out...

the last day was the most profitable for singapore as we came back with bags and bags of stuff from Queensway. there, it is famous for cheap shoes and sporting equiptment! and that is where we had the famous Katong Laksa! it was so tasty that all of us could see our faces in the bowl after we finished the soup! and we only need to eat it with spoon, perfect for lazy ppl... =P then we went over to Ikea to have swedish meatballs and smoked salmon, which in my opinion was heaven! that was the last stop before we head home...

we had an interesting experience heading home, to rush all the way through immigration and to rush back into the bus again, and managed to save RM 50 in the process, but it was exhilarating and great fun! the bus driver back to KL used to be a race driver in my suspicion cos it only took him 3.5 hours to reach KL!!! Amazing!!! but we all reached save and sound, in one piece, remembering the great fun we had...

looking forward for another international makan club trip! till then, if i missed out anything, do add in the comments so that ppl that was not with us can share the laughter we had! will post pictures as soon as i get them!

it's not just frozen food!

ahem.. haha.. as to clear the air, on behalf of the villaageverynicehowmuch inhabitants.. we do cook! apart from the frozen stuffs and junk food. haha.. but you must understand that to take makan club international, we will be needing the financial means as well (we do welcome any form of sponsorship whether in the form of cheque, cash or credit card, thank you!).. and of course the TIME! haha.. we have orientation from 9.30-4.30pm every single day.. and u know how early the shops close here.. so we have limited resources THAT's why our cooking has been limited to frozen food. haha.. but yesterday! aha........ we had our very first, closest to home food...............

Fried Spaghetti! by Shiau Cern and me. with Stir-fried lettuce as our sides. and today.. Fried Mee Hoon! by Chuen & Steph.. ta-daaa...... *clap clap* which tasted verynice verynice (borat style)

and *boohoohoo* i wish i was in s'pore with u guys too......... i still haven't SHOPPED!!!!!!!!! jay & wh.. how can u X subway??!!!!!! it is like the BEST in s'pore! which one did u go to? i hope it wasn't the suntec one :P

MAKAN CLUB WENT INTERNATIONAL!!! [part 1 - The Train Menace]

cp: huh? so random...

wh: bcos i got nothing to say...

wh: *long pause* WHAT?! HUH SERIOUS AR?

everyone: *laughing like mad cows!*

cp: it is 1 am now...

jay*dictating*

wh: anyway, as mentioned above, we have taken Makan Club to Singapore, the first time where we will be recognised by the eyes of the world. The whole idea of going to Singapore was to explore it. But looking at what we have done for the past 2 days, the output of our cash is contributed to the Singapore's Food & Beverages Industries... eh... i'm not talking till the rest of you start talking...

evie: let's see what we have done so far...

the first meal was in delifrance for breakfast when we arrived in Singapore... this was to satisfy our hungry stomach due to sleepless nights by worrying about the unsafe rumours of the train slinding off track... ok, it's just jay n evie... cp slept like a log as ususal... and then there was this train announcer-captain dude who has an errie-slow voice while speaking bahasa baku... ask cyin to immitate him for further details...

spoiler: *cp is being challenged by an ang-moh in pool as we are typing this... we wish him all the best... the ang-moh seemed pretty good!*

anyways, back to the food... delifrance wasn't any different from m'sia's... no comments from anyone... their coffee was bottomless tho...

moving on, we found a backpacker's inn in which already booked... we checked into INN CROWD. it is in little india and it is indeed quite nice... kenn foong and wh found their cute inn receptionist... evie wasn't jealous tho... ok, it is a nice place, with not only cute guys, but in has free internet, foosball table and a pool table as u all would hav already know...

the first destination was to sentosa... chants for Subway was heard from wh since the wee hours of morning... and we indeed had that for lunch... (jay: subway singapore is rotten! they only let you choose 2 types of sauces, unlike the unlimited choices u get in m'sia... wh: it is X-ed!)

anyways, cp bought honeydew ice blended from coffee bean, which was nice! oooh, an u guys must try the LUGE when ever u guys visit sentosa! we went 3 times!!! visited the underwater world and watch fat dolphins jump as well.. (cyin: no la!!! cute dolphins! u should say it's cute PINK dolphins!!! kenn: i feel conned!) oh oh oh! wh almost peed inhis pants in the cable car ride! it was high!!! it stopped in the middle a couple of times as well!!

then the drizzle drove us back to the main island, where we went straight to Bugis Junction to have our all u can eat korean bbq dinner! ALL U CAN EAT MAN!!! WOOO!!! it's at Seoul Garden! we ate till the place was closing, and we still stocked up on food and dessert! everyone was filled to the brim...

then we went to Clarke Quay! we saw this bar called Clinic! it's setting was like a ward, with white screens and chairs at hospital beds... who would want to be hanging out in a clinic? it still has great business tho... we walked thorugh fountains and did not get wet! figure that out!!! and there was this bar in which we don't remember the name, which shows lame jokes on plasma! eg: layin's fav: q:what's the difference between ooooh! and AAAAH!? a: 3 inches! q: why doesn't sant claus have children? a: becos he only comes once a year and it's down the chimney. (super lame~) q: what is the difference between a pregnant woman and a wine bottle? a: u can unscrew a wine bottle. oook... we got enough lame oredi... we we so stunned by lame jokes lamer than chuens that we ended up taking the last train home...

it's 1.30am now, and the not so cute receptionist is waiting for me to shut down the computer... we shall continue this tmr... the power is off in 10... 9.... 8... 7.... 6.... 5.... 4.... 3.... 2... 1....

Attention to all!!!!

Hey my fellow eaters,

This is a letter I’m writing to make known the current inactive state of our club recently. It has come to my attention that eating has no longer remained the top priority in our fellow makan clubers… I blame all this on IMU for ripping off our passion and desire to feast & violating our pledge to meet up at a venue every week to satisfy our hunger strike.

Since our days in IMU Bukit Jalil have come to an end, I suggest that our dear president, if still desire to maintain your throne as one, to come out with new venues, plans, agendas & propositions for 2007. We urgently need to call for a meeting to check on our current eating status, & treat those who have wandered off from the path of eating.

The secretary clearly ain’t doing her job nowadays considering she is leaving soon. I as one of the member of this club is giving you a warning, doesn’t mean you are leaving, you can allowed to leave all members of this club unnoticed of current events (if there’s any).. Considering 2007 has begun, I felt that you should issue a annual report as to how we progress since we have started somewhere around mid of last year.

On behalf of all members, I am voicing out our concern of our future state as a makan clubers. I suggest an immediate plan has to be birth since some of our members are leaving tomorrow to the land down under, to join some of the Australians as villagers… I sincerely send my condolences to my beloved makan clubers who has to live in such an abandoned and sadden situation. Where grasses and ferns are as tall as their home, where sheeps & cows are their main mode of transportation, where internet & electricity are so sparse, & sky scrapers are no where to be seen. You are always welcome to Melbourne & I personally will host you with great comfort & luxury to the best I could afford.

But anyway, it is my joy to congratulate those who make it in their exams & my deepest prayers to Chuen’s visa to come miraculously from God tomorrow. To Chris Chuen Christine & Steph, I wish you all goodbye & til we meet again somewhere in Aussie, let us just hold fast to the hope we profess, anticipating that 2007 will bring fruitfulness to our lives in Aussie.

As for others, to those who are going to Singapore with me, let’s just spend this quality time together, building & fostering our friendship so that when we do part in future, our friendship will not be shaken by time zone differences & distance. To all, I thank you for the time & joy spent together in my journey in IMU Bukit Jalil. Studying medicine will never be the same without experiencing it with you guys.

Newsflash : Jay Got Stoned

So we all trotted down to Renaissance last Saturday to celebrate Se Yin's (and her sister's) coming of age. In true MakanClub fashion, we created quite the ruckus in Temptations that night, as I'm sure the many other patrons there who were looking forward to a quiet dinner can attest to. Some of the highlights (among others) of the night were

1) Discovering that I am the QUEEN of de-shelling lobsters.

2) Jay the once-normal-but-obviously-mutated Cow has 8 stomachs as opposed to the 4 we all thought he (and all other normal cows) had.

3) Chocolate fountains are the devil. It makes the girls fat and reduces the guys to giggly 5 year old girls.

Case in point :

Me : Omg, the chocolate fountain looks so tempting. I think I'm gonna get myself more choco goodies. Wanna go?
Steph : I'm full, no thanks. I like salad. (because Steph is the only girl I know who makes a beeline for the salad bar whenever confronted with large scale buffets serving lamb,beef,sashimi and fountains (ok fine, one fountain) of chocolatey goodness. Ok la, she did eat all the other stuff but seriously, I totally ignore salad bars whenever I go for buffets as I'm sure everybody else does. Right?)
Me : Do you think anybody would ever stand by the chocolate fountain, continuously dipping their stuff in until they're satisfied just to save multiple trips to the fountain of chocolatey goodness?
Steph : haha I don't think anybody would wanna embarass themselves that bad.
Me : haha yeah you're probably right. Omg, what would you do if you saw somebody not only hogging the chocolate fountain but dipping his/her stuff in after every bite?
Steph : Ew GROSS!! See, that is why I never eat lok-lok.
Kenn : *comes back to table laughing*
Me and Steph : What's up?
Kenn : Check out the chocolate fountain.
Me and Steph : *looks in that direction to find Wai Ming and Jay giggling by the chocolate fountain doing what we were just discussing *
(In their defense, they weren't dipping their sticks in after every bite for you know, universal precaution. Dr FA would've been so proud. )

After stuffing ourselves silly, we somehow managed to waddle our way (in cars of course) to 7ate9 at the Ascott. Nice place, that. The highlight of our little visit to this place, was as you were probably expecting, the reason for the title of this post. It was a wonderful night all in all. The food was good,

the company awesome, and we all came back with sweet memories of a great night out.

ps. He wasn't really drunk la. This was just an accidental shot he took while attempting to show ChunPeng how the red eye reduction feature in his camera works. And it evidently does, very well indeed. Only thing it makes you look super stoned in the process. :P Don't kill me, Jay! Not that it would matter to you because you're obviously going to take this very well but Steph was the one who brought my attention to this picture so er, if anything you should get back at her too. Sorry girl, I had to bring somebody down with me.

MAKAN CLUB ALERT (An Attempt to Reactivate)

HEllo!!!!

peepps... hahah i wonder if anyone will ever drop by here. and read this. but i just tot of a post CNS chillout session. yes, you read it right. i know abit the fast to think abt that rite.. i am aware that i hv my notes to worry about more. :P

hahah, but just for the sake of anyone like me who DO pop by online every now and then (computers are horrible distractions to me).. this place looks like a really nice place to chillout.. The Ascott KL- 7atenine. mm.. proposed time abt 9pm /after dinner. (opposite Mandarin Oriental KL).

ANYONE up for it? :D

Since the Gobble Gazette has been temporarily inactivated

because nobody's interested in eating anymore (not your fault, ms president. don't worry, my promise of not dethroning you still stands. You know how busy everyone is what with EOS coming up and everything), allow me to bring a little life into our pathetic EOS5-ridden lives by doing what I do best. Telling jokes that are so funny it has a sensory afferent nerve (LaJ nerve) of its own. With conduction speeds of up to 100km/s, it is no wonder that scientists are hailing this as one of their biggest discoveries since peanut butter. What's interesting is that there was found to be genetic variations with regards to the speed of conduction from individual to individual. This explains why certain people take longer to get a joke as is evident by the very hilarious joke I have aptly named "Fatimah Came Back".

"Fatimah Came Back" has recently been named as the most effective confirmatory test for LaJ sensory nerve dysfunction. However, the "Charsiewpaumaggimee Test" is still widely accepted as an adequate screening test. The table below can be used as a means to evaluate patients with suspected LaJ nerve dysfunction. The times listed are with reference to the times taken for patient to respond (with laughter) AFTER successful completion of "Fatimah Came Back".

5-10 minutes Slow. Repeat test again in 6 months.

dear makanclub members,

i would like to apologize for not arranging for any makanclub outings. really sorry guys... things hav been really bz in uni. but i really hope we can go on a makan trip next week, n i really hope this time everybody can make it...coz the last few trips (that were very long ago), very lil ppl turned up. i will plan one for the following week k..hehe...but so far, any ideas on wat u guys feel like eating? :) who's up for italian food? :) actually the place always doesnt really matter right, it's the company u guys make matters most...coz hanging out with u guys really makes a difference.it's super fun! everytime we'll hehehaha til our stomach feels funny ;p so that's y i really do hope that everyone can turn up this time.

MUST.EAT.SOON.

Dear Ms President,

It has come to my attention that the Makan Club which we so zealously created almost half a year ago is currently on the path to becoming a distant memory of the past. It pains me to say this, but I believe some of our members have stopped believing in the cause of our Makan Club and thus chosen to move on to other less important past-times, like studying for EOS 5. Which is most worrying as we have never been known to choose studying over eating.

In all humility, I would like to request that you plan a Makan Club outing within the next 2 weeks. May I also ask that you issue a formal threat to those who choose not to attend said outing. I speak on behalf of Jay and Se Yin when I say that we are sincerely sorry for blaming you for the inactivity of the Makan Club on the 26th of September, 11 am at the Darts Room. I would also like to apologize for threatening to start a riot (recruiting Jay and Se Yin who happened to still be in the Darts Room) outside IMU with the intention of dethroning you as president of the Makan Club. We spoke too soon. We have since realized that the Makan Club would not be what it is today if it wasn't for your able planning and leadership skills.

I end this letter thanking you in advance for your invaluable service to the Makan Club. I promise I won't threaten to start a riot in order to replace you again. However, I will not be responsible for anything Jay and Se Yin might have already planned.

The future of the Makan Club lies in your hands.

it's been more than 2 months now that the makanclub is 'officially open'....n i'm so happy that we've been to so many places so far.somehow it feels as if it's yesterday that jay n chuen taxed me to tell me that there was a blog on the makanclub.but yea..it's been 2 months already, n we've been to so many places to eat...from mamak stalls to italian food (pizza!) hehe. it's been super fun! so many great memories.... the juicy o jien in that far away restaurant, "eclipse for ellipse" ,the cute jay n darren "couple" in mizi shabu shabu, ribena special at murni's, brave eve for that dare in luna, bad service at madam kwan's, delicious beef n pork ball noodles, jay's b**b theory, CS!!!, the bazooka team!, and the brave christine fighting for our rights in marco's!wow,wat an experience huh?..hehe.

n for all the reports written...good job u guys!*clap*clap* keep it up!hehe..let's continue our search for good food :)

Marco's Pizza

one day, in a faraway land in IMU Bukit Jalil, there were some
8 cheerleaders, who had nothing to do after practice (we ARE in
selectives after all). so guess what.. we decided to go out and
eat! *big surprise*

haha.. initially suggestions were hawker centres, pizza hut, the
more we talked the further the destination became until we finally
decided on Marco's pizza! somemore hau chun said got discount if
got UOB credit card. so we were all excited whenn chun peng had
one!

off we (consists of me, liyeen, seyin, hauchun, chunpeng, steph,
jay and drick) went to tmn megah in search of the famous, & as u
read on, infamous Marco's pizza.

wonderfully enough when we arrived there, 2 parking lots await
us, right in front of the restaurant!! woo hoo.. thank God! we
entered, not bad.. nice decor and all. so we confirmed with the
cashier if the UOB promotion is valid and they said yes. so bla bla
bla. they took our orders.. n then!!!!! the waiter recommended
us to take the promotion **(buy 1 large pizza & get a side dish
for rm3) so of course we said yes right???!!!

so we ate.. n food was ok.. vongole a bit tooo clammish. carbonara
was pretty good. as for the pizzas.. i think i'd only give it a
65% (ngam ngam pass!!!)

and so the moment came, when it was time for us to leave
(because hauchun & hendrick were going out on a date! sounds
wrong -_-" but then they added that there were "chicks" going
along.. we gave them a really hard time on that.. hahaha.. so
u're saying we're not "chicks" la??!! :p) ok ok, so we called for
the bill la. then they didn't give us the 15%!!!! so we asked
laaaa.... n u know what they said?!!

"oh, u opted for the promotion** and then the UOB promotion
is N/A!" 8 of us.. "HUH??!!"
ok then.. recomposed ourselves.. and ask, oh then u change the
bill la to the original side dish price, and THEN u minus 15% from
there (more substantial)

u know what they said??? oh.. cannot. cos we print the bill dee..
cannot change! *bish*
8 of us.. "HUH??!! talk to your manager"

he came bck with the bill again and said.. "ok here's what we can
do, we split the bill into 2. we give u discount for the drinks & pasta.
the pizza cannot change" and they printed out 2 bills for us (I
THOUGHT THEY JUST SAID CANNOT CHANGE?? hypocrites)

so i stomped to the cashier.. bangs the table and demands
for my consumer's right (ok that was exaggerated)
i just asked, why didn't u tell us that so-called promotion
MEANS we can't get the 15% discount?! u know what the manager
said..?? (he should be FIRED immediately) ehh, other restaurants
also like that la, u cannot use a promotion with another discount..
it is written in the UOB book. (for crying out loud!! ur rm2.50
discount promotion wanna void me of getting 15% off our rm145
bill??!!) doesn't make sense right.. anyway, in the end, chun peng
said nvm, just pay la.

then i just muttered, nxt time please let your customers know..
i can't exactly remembered what he said but it wasn't pleasant so
on the way out i exclaimed at an audible voice (to the manager) i'm
NOT coming back here AGAIN! and wrote a complaint on their
feedback card.

so we left, and steph asked, so how much was it. u know that
manager!! so sneaky.. he charged us the initial amount!!! argh..
CHEAT! so we went bck in again, n he said.. oh oh it wasn't
intentional but it was written all over his face it WAS~!

ok soo.. to release our "geram-ness" we headed to play... haha..
CS!!! this time not so fun, cos got the other super "geng" ppl who
keeps changing maps AND keeps killing us.. hey, i couldn't even
move a step to pick up a gun & i died -_-" later we had our
own map so it got better hehe! we played till about 11. and jack
was abt to come join us when we left, too bad :P

wanted to go makan durians after that, but there was only one
pathetic stall at sri petaling which didn't really attract us. so
we headed home instead.

after all that's said and done. no more Marco's Pizza.. period.

p/s: KHOO HAU CHUN, u're suppose to take attendance laaaaa...
